Mark Eischen, a seasoned radio personality and children's book author based in Upstate New York, founded Boundless Books in 2017 to foster creativity and teamwork among elementary students. Leveraging his experience in storytelling and broadcasting, Eischen designed a program that guides students through the process of creating and publishing their own children's books. Over a series of six to eight visits spanning six weeks, he collaborates with students to develop storylines, create original characters, and produce illustrations, culminating in a professionally published, full-color book. Each student is credited as an author and illustrator, and the books are made available on platforms like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. A portion of the royalties supports the program's sustainability, with the majority donated to local charities chosen by the students.
